To Ban TikTok in the U.S

As government officials have concerns over the mobile application of whether or not that the Chinese company is spying on users, users who use the platform would be furious at the government for the prohibition of using the app as this is an app that is supposedly for kids.

It’s also hard to limit a lot of illicit content that is shown on there but they have been doing pretty good at it as there are not many questionable content being shown.

There are about 170 million active users on TikTok in the U.S alone and the business for TikTok will diminish drastically if they were to accomplish the ban.

If ever they do make this happen then more traffic will come to either Meta’s platforms like Instagram Reels or Facebook Reels, then Meta’s ad revenue will surely skyrocket as this discussion for the ban is just something that Mark Zuckerberg really is anticipating.

Then you have Youtube Shorts, which will also a lot revenue coming their way as with the shift from TikTok to Youtube will also have an impact on Youtube’s overall revenue.

Whichever way it goes, there will be always someone making money whether your Meta and you have these platforms and getting more partnered advertisers on your platforms or your the advertiser and advertise on TikTok because the algorithm actually works in their favor most times and that’s very beneficial for anyone who wanna advertise on TikTok to boost your business.

I Can’t Believe it’s Been 4 Years

4 Years ago, when Government officials have made an announcement for limitations on certain activities like going to restaurants, clubs, and public outings things that weren’t necessary, it was like a dystopian era of some sort. To many, it was a depression for the social people.

When this took place in the U.S you would think that there would be a shortage of food because of people stocking up for the next couple of months or a year. But the craziest thing was, toilet paper was out of stock everywhere you go?

People took this as quick cash advantage and sold per toilet paper for like maybe 10 bucks each. But this was a great business in the toilet paper industry as the demand for toilet paper were higher than they were ever before.

The vaccines for the Covid-19 virus was released to the public and the two major vaccine companies that were making money was Pfizer and Moderna and shares gone up where Moderna’s stock rose from $96 to $416 a 325% increase. It was a great year for Moderna indeed.

Also essential companies that work during the pandemic saw a surge in volume of sales as many people had to resort to this goods or service like in the postal industry where postal workers saw a huge amount of volume coming into their facility that they get 5x the amount they normally get on a good day. So these postal workers had to hire more drivers and package handlers to work at this job. I wouldn’t be surprised if the postal companies awarded their employees for their hard work and compensated them in some way.

If ever there’s another event like this one where we are limited to go out even. Then I’m buying UPS stock and toilet paper related stocks too.
